“to be yourself in a world that is constantly
trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment"
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
Do you appear successful and together on the outside, yet inside you feel like a struggling mess?
Have you always felt different, that you don't fit in? Perhaps you’ve been labelled in ways that don’t align with who you feel you really are.
Do you spend significant periods of time working or studying long hours only to burnout and crash?
Are you starting to suspect you
may have ADHD? Maybe you already have an ADHD diagnosis, but you’ve been left without support or ways to manage areas you’re still struggling with.
Are your family relationships strained, or broken?
Maybe you have decided to go no contact with family members, or your some of your family have cut contact with you.
Perhaps you’ve grown up without the support of family around you at all, trying to manage everything alone.
These are very painful experiences that go to the heart of our feelings of belonging and of feeling safe in the world. Often other people don’t understand the deep and lasting impact this can have on your life.
Men’s mental health and emotional wellbeing is important to me.
Although beliefs are changing, I understand that it can often be more difficult for men to reach out for help.
I recognise that as a man you experience unique expectations, pressures, and difficulties in life. You may prefer a different, more practical approach to solving problems, one that empowers you.
Using therapy is not a weakness. It shows you are being proactive, responsible and taking control of your mental health.
