As a relational psychotherapist and coach, your story matters to me, and it's important that you feel able to bring all of yourself to therapy, without fear of judgement or misunderstanding. I believe real change happens when you are both seen and heard, and supported to make that change.
My therapeutic style is warm and collaborative. I don't just listen and nod; I'll engage with what you bring and challenge it with sensitivity, helping you become aware of patterns or blocks that may be holding you back.
Clients tell me I reach places other therapists haven't. That doesn't happen by accident. It comes from genuine curiosity, a willingness to be direct, and a lot of experience, both professional and lived.

I work by drawing on systemic, psychodynamic and attachment approaches, which means I'm interested in how you came to be who you are, how your past is still showing up in your present, and what's quietly keeping you stuck.
I have a 20 year background in somatic work, and draw on this alongside creative practices where they fit, because thinking your way through everything only gets you so far. I blend therapy with coaching to help you turn that awareness into real, practical change.
Nothing here is off the shelf. How we work is shaped around you, and if you're neurodivergent, that's built in from the start.
Sometimes it may be uncomfortable, but I'll always be in your corner.

Somatic is a word that describes the corporeal body. We are all whole human beings - our emotions and nervous system don't just live in our heads. Often our body 'knows' more than we are consciously aware of. I can integrate simple movement and breathwork into our work together to help you tap into your innate body wisdom and become more attuned.
Many people find talking about and describing emotions difficult. We cannot easily find the right words. Music lyrics or instrumentals, poetry or other creative processes bypass the logical brain and connect directly with our feelings. I can incorporate these elements into our work together, either through using creativity in the sessions, or via what you feel drawn to bringing with you, to help you to access closed off parts of yourself.
I am committed to regularly engaging in continuing professional education to ensure my knowledge and skills are up to date and relevant..
