Something isn't working between you.
Stuck in recurring patterns of misunderstanding or conflict, you just can’t seem to find a way to talk to each other. Or a distance has developed, and the gap between you keeps growing. You’re not sure how it got to this point, but now it's affecting everything.
Relationships can run aground for different reasons.
You feel like you're speaking different languages, and the same arguments keep happening in a loop, like Groundhog Day.
Something important has gone unsaid or unnoticed for so long it's become a wall between you.
Trust has been eroded and left unrepaired.
Disappointment has started to overshadow hope for change.
Your lives have changed, but your relationship hasn't caught up.

Connection is something most of us need and few of us find straightforward. When relationships struggle, everything else can feel harder.
Relationship therapy isn’t just for couples. It can help with any connection that’s important to you and feels strained, or in need of support.
Relationship therapy gives you a space to see clearly what might be going on under the surface, and figure out what's getting in the way of the relationship you want.
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. I can help you to understand your relational patterns, express your needs, and build healthier ways of connecting.

All relationships carry history. Patterns of relating formed long before you met each other - in families, in earlier relationships, in the ways we attach, communicate and protect ourselves. Much of this is unconscious. We don't choose our attachment styles, or the ways we learned to deal with closeness, unmet needs or expectations, or conflict. These develop over time.
When two people come together, they each bring all of their history, patterns and ways of relating to the relationship.
Relationships don't become difficult because people stop caring. They struggle because love isn't always enough. External stresses and significant life events can impact the relationship in multiple ways. Without the tools to communicate, repair and understand each other, even the strongest connection can start to take on water.

I work with individuals and with couples or pairs, including family members and non-romantic partnerships. I don't take sides. I'm here to help you be heard.
Some people considering separation or divorce use therapy to think through whether, and how, to end a relationship.
I have specialist training and particular experience with relationships where one or both people are neurodivergent, and with inter-cultural relationships.
This includes neurodivergent parenting, dual-heritage and intercultural parenting, and families navigating multiple layers of difference at once, such as an intercultural, neurodivergent family raising third-culture children.
